Uh oh, guess what day it is. Guess… what-day-it-is? Hummmp Day! And this particular hump day, I am, or rather I should say, we are happier than camels on hump day to share this collaboration with you. My blogger BBF, Olivia of Corporate Catwalk and I, have collaborated together, first off, to introduce you to this fabulous J Crew camel sweater (which Olivia gets all the credit for discovering) and second, to show you how we styled this one piece, two ways.
So let’s get right too it and talk about each of these fabulous looks…
Olivia, Corporate Catwalk // Sleek + Sophisticated
Olivia is wearing (a personal fav), the cognac faux leather pencil skirt from Zara paired with the infamous Valentino Rockstud Pumps (which I’m dying to own), and her classic Fendi tote and a J Crew necklace. When it comes to sleek and sophisticated, Olivia has got this looked covered. Her personal style is very similar… classic, clean, sleek, and sophisticated. I can personally tell you, this little lady always looked pulled together and chic. If you haven’t checked out her blog yet, make sure you do.
Fallon, Sage + Sparkle // Fun + Flirty
I on the other hand can do sleek + sophisticated… but for hump day, it had to be fun and flirty. I first wanted to layer the camel sweater over a sheer black button up, then paired it with a black feather skirt from Michael Kors (it’s a few seasons old, but there are tons of options available this season), my new Zara leopard coat, python print pumps, a black/gold necklace c/o of AVON, and a pop of mandarin with the clutch. When it comes to fashion, I’m all about the details… if it can be layered, you better believe I will try. You can also bet that accessories will be piled on and prints will be mixed if possible. Oh, and in the name of “fun + flirty” check out my Twitter and Facebook for a fun surprise.
…and just for kicks, check out the commercial again if you get a chance. Is it just me or do you bust up laughing every time you see it too. I’m hoping for a remake! Also, please let me know… do you like these collaborations? We’re hoping to do more in the future and are open to suggestions.
