Garance Doré - ALT Summit

Attending the ALT Summit Keynote, given by Garance Doré, was one of the highlights of my trip (and that’s saying a lot).  As with any good keynote, Garance inspired, motivated and educated.  If you don’t follow fashion blogs, you may not know who she is… and if that’s the case then thank me now, for introducing you.  Her blog, Garance Doré, focuses on fashion,  with a mix of photography and illustrations (both by her) is a must see! During her keynote… Read more »

j crew camel sweater, zara pencil skirt, leopard print pumps

I just got back from ALT Summit Saturday night and my head I have to admit, my head is still spinning.  My “to-do list” has grown exuberantly. I had the-time-of-my-life at ALT… better than I imagined I would.  I learned, networked, and partied with the best of them, and now comes the fun part; the follow up and follow through, most of which will have to wait unit next weekend, as I’m headed to Mexico tomorrow morning for work.

dont compare yourself

{photo via here}  This week has been a blur! I started in NYC, with two packed days at work, then I was off to SLC for ALT summit. After seven flight calculations, I finally made it (pays to be Platinum – thanks, Delta!).  From my arrival late Wednesday afternoon, to now, I have been overwhelmed with the amount of information and inspiration and I am beyond grateful to be here! The above quote, I actually found a few weeks… Read more »

green juice recipe - pineapple celery

Today I’m sharing with your another easy green juice recipe, that is sweet and healthy (perfect combination, right?). Pineapple is my FAVORITE fruit! Seriously, I can’t get enough! Not only is it a super cute fruit, but it’s pretty tasty too.  There are also health benefits to this juice as well. If you someone who works out a lot, this is the perfect juice to have directly following an intense work out to rehydrated (celery) and prevent inflammation (pineapple). Funny… Read more »

wide stand collar

Nothing is impossible, the word itself says ‘I’m possible’! -Audrey Hepburn I’m headed off to Salt Lake City today, God willing, and couldn’t be more of a nervous wreck! Yet at the same time I’m beyond excited for what I will learn the next few days.  I’m a little worried, that due to the five six flight cancellations I have experienced, I will miss the early bird classes and possible the sponsor dinner, but as long as I make it TODAY, I… Read more »

smoked citrus salmon

Last week, I attended a work dinner at Fig & Olive, in the meatpacking.  For those non-New Yorkers,  the “meatpacking” is a neighborhood in NYC running south from West 14th to Gansevoort Street and east from the Hudson River to Hudson Street.  Fig & Olive, is one of those rare chain restaurants that gets it right every time!  I have been to 3 out of 6 of their locations, multiple times, and have never once been disappointed.  In fact, each… Read more »

seven days in a carry on

I’m so excited to share with you my packing list packing list for my trip to Paris + London, back in November.  I am someone who ONLY packs carry on (my record is 14 days), so I would consider myself someone who is pretty good at it.  The secret is having a good size “personal item” and packing your handbag and shoes in there, leaving the suitcase itself for the clothes. And while we’re speaking of that, the roll technique… Read more »

up inspired photoshoot

{photo} Never has a Friday come, that I was this happy to say TGIF!   Okay, I take that back… never, is a strong word, but in all honesty, it’s been awhile since I have felt this exhausted at the end of a week.  Work life this week has been jammed packed, which has played a big factor in the exhaustion, but the exciting thing is that today, at the stroke of 6pm (realistically 7pm), the first 3 day weekend… Read more »

colorblock, jumpsuit, sage + sparkle

Good Morning! I hope you are having a wonderful week. Following last weeks polar vortex this week has been so much more pleasant in New York.  Yesterday, I was even able to wear a skirt, sans tights, and felt absolutely fine. Although, I’m trying not to get to excited, as living in NY the last 8 years, I feel the patterns have always been the same… warm up a little in January, making everyone get excited for Spring, then February,… Read more »
