afternoon tea2

I finally got around to shifting through the 100′s of photos I took while in Paris and London last Fall – yes, almost a year ago.  In my defense, I took over a thousand photos over the course of the week life has been moving full speed ahead ever since.  It was nice over the last couple of weeks though, to be able to look back and relive the memories – and I can’t wait to share a few of… Read more »

Last month, my love and I had the privilege of attending Le Dîner en Blanc in NYC.  I say privilege, because not everybody gets the opportunity to attend.  An estimated 4,800 people attended the event, but over 30,000 people were on the wait list! You have to either be a member, meaning you attending the year before, or be invited by a member – which still doesn’t guarantee you entry, but just gives you the chance to purchase a ticket. Luckily… Read more »

DTLA Where to Eat

If you follow me on instagram, then you know that I am often in a different city at least 2 times a month- sometimes once a week.  One of my favorite parts of traveling is experiencing different restaurants.  One week I may be in Los Angeles and the next a little town in the middle of Tennessee, but regardless of the size of the town, there is always something delicious to taste.  As a result of my loves for experience new… Read more »

Hot Air Balloon, Napa Valley, Sage+Sparkle

A few months back, Memorial Day Weekend, we headed out west for my sisters college graduation.  We had a wonderful weekend spending time with family and seeing a few friends. First let me start by saying, I love hot air balloons – Disney’s Up is one of my favorite movies and this Up themed photo shoot pulls on my heartstrings every time. Being on the west coast for more than 2 days and not working, I took the opportunity to… Read more »

the world is a book

{photo via here}  The above quote has been a favorite of mine for a while now.  I came across it years ago, in a book I was reading at the time about travel, back before I had even made it out of the country.  Since then I have been to the all through our America, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Bahamas, Nicaragua, France, England and Puerto Rico, with my list growing daily.  Each trip has allowed me to complete another… Read more »

San Francisco Pier 39

Two weeks ago, my little sister graduated from College, which meant a trip back hope to cheer her on and help celebrate the occasion.  Growing up in the Bay Area, San Francisco was what you meant when you referred to something as “the city”. After high school, I live in San Francisco for a year and can not say more good things about this wonderful city.  Aside for the area know as the tenderloin, San Francisco really is a beautiful… Read more »

Explore the Bahamas

With the holiday weekend upon us, (starting mine early) I’m headed  to California, to spend time with the family and see my little sister graduate from collage and my little bother preach this Sunday! Before before I jet off for another long weekend adventure, I wanted to share with you some photos from my trip last weekend, to the Bahamas.  It was a quick trip, but so much fun! I went gone for a 3 day weekend, to celebrate a… Read more »

What a week this has been for me! I had the most amazing experience the last two days, that I can’t wait to share with you.  But for now, join me in a little wanderlust and explore the Eiffel Tower through my eyes.  Just watching it takes me back to this magically moment and I couldn’t help but share with you. This weekend my love (he makes a few cameos in the video above) and I will be attending the… Read more »

Paris, France - Love Lock Bridge

Paris, November 2013:  We wrote our initials on a padlock, along side millions before us, locked it to the Pont de l’Archevêché, and throw the key into the Seine River as a symbol of our everlasting love.  One of the most romantic moments in my life to date.  I love this man with all my heart and could not be more thankful for all of the special moments we share together.   I woke up this morning, to pancakes, bacon (he knows the… Read more »

seven days in a carry on

I’m so excited to share with you my packing list packing list for my trip to Paris + London, back in November.  I am someone who ONLY packs carry on (my record is 14 days), so I would consider myself someone who is pretty good at it.  The secret is having a good size “personal item” and packing your handbag and shoes in there, leaving the suitcase itself for the clothes. And while we’re speaking of that, the roll technique… Read more »
